GET READY FOR AN INTENSE CARDIOVASCULAR WORKOUT! - MEN & WOMEN
This is a fun, high energy class set to fast beat current music. Don't be intimidated if you are new to kickboxing. Our instructors do a great job of setting three different skill levels for each movement. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced student, our instructors will set a level that is attainable by you.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN CLASS
Warm up is typically the first 10 minutes and could be step-ups, jump rope, calisthenics, squats or push-ups.
Bag work is the core of this class. It is typically 30 minutes. This part of the class is focused on jabs, punches, crosses, elbows, hooks, and upper cuts. Kicks consist of front kicks, round kicks, side & back kicks, leg kicks, and knee strikes. In between these rounds, which last about 90 seconds, our instructors will have you perform crunches, push-ups, and other ground work exercises. You will end with a cool down and leave this class feeling like you have had a hard workout. You'll also be grateful that you completed it and for putting YOURSELF on your daily list!
